New solar group rises in TN

A Tennessee chapter of the American Solar Energy Society has been formed and was officially accepted by the national organization over the weekend. The group, based in Knoxville, is set up to promote the adoption of solar technology across the state and will be forming local chapters to that end. ASES promotes the national Solar Tour each year and engages in other activites and events promoting and educating about solar. Here’s the new local organization’s website.
